I have a HP Pavilion 8670 computer. I recently did a clean install of XP Pro. My internal modem, Rockwell, wouldn't work and I couldn't find any updated drivers, so I took it out and installed a new modem, Typhoon, and it works perfectly. My problem is I now have no sound. I believe the sound card was an integrated part of the Rockwell modem and if so, can I reinstall the Rockwell and just use the sound part without creating problems with the new modem?
