I can't hear! After fdisk and re-sinstalling win98, my e-Machine Trigem Delhi 3 motherboard produces no sound.
The integrated audio subsystem is a Crystal CS4235 Audio Controller. What makes me look in this direction is that the Device Manager shows a ? next to Other Devices/PCI Bridge.
I'm not sure if I should be looking for an audio adapter driver or a PCI bridge.
I installed a driver for CS 4235, but it had no effect.
The PCI Bridge is some sort of controller between the Northbridge and the Southbridge, standing in between ISA and PCI, I believe, but I'm unsure of what this has to do with sound.
Much obliged.
