It will probably help you.

If not you will need to give us more details about the SCSI controller you are using, along with it's configuration (raid or not).

Hi all!
Many many many many tnx for the posts! :-D
Well ... after my post I've made some other tests and after many many many cd boots, the sco install 100% (boot from cd not floppy 2 install ... 10 cd boots ... 9 off ... the scsi not responding I receive the same error ... bah! ... ).
After the os, I've installed some drvs from hp about my scsi.
Now I've few probls with other sco things (not install! cool! ;-) )
So, when i've tried to install, into sco docs there's a ref about BTLD floppy boot disk (use instead the "normal floppy" boot disk). I've tried to use this floppy, created StepByStep like sco doc, but not start ...
For this time I'm ok ... buuut ... the next? :)

(Sorry for my english but I think U understand all the same! :D )

See U Soon

For a painless install on any Compaq/HP server, download the latest Compaq EFS, create the floppy disks and read the README very carefully. There are boot strings for all the latest releases of OpenServer which will require the BTLD floppy and will install the correct driver to allow access to the hd.

Hi all!
Maaaany tnx! Yeah! into readme (disk 4/5) there are many interesting infos.
By the way I have installed the correctley scsi drivers with this command at the boot installa prompt: ciss <return>
After this, sco ask me the floppy ... and that's all! :D
Many tnx!
