Word of warning, we have just upgraded a 403 unit from 1.3 to 1.4, after some time we started to experinece strange ring tones on incoming calls, i.e instead of the physical phone ringing for a second it would only ring for half a second.
After a little time longer the phone would not ring at all so the only way you knew that a call coming in was when phone manger popped, however if you picked to phone up sure enough a call would be there. This effected both internal and external calls. A reboot of the system would cure it for a while.
We have downgraded back to 1.3 and this has fixed the problem. Avaya are looking at this and think it is related to the message waiting lamp.
