This are the messages i get when i want to restore something

We use BackupExec 9.1 Media Server for Windows and the backuped Server is Netware 6.5SP2 with SAN volumes. The Backup is fine, only the restore makes troubles.
I created a user in the NDS and gave them all rights to the Root of the Volume (File rights) except Supervisor. Are there any special NDS trustee rights to objects needed? Anything else i missed?

well - never played with this in this scenario as i would always get netware to do the tasks but thats bye the bye

how is it backing this up - is it using a tsafs or ?

it should restore with the account that is backing it up

we have also BackupExec Media Server running on Netware in other countries but this a completely different concept on Windows

its using tsafs, tried also that switch for memory corruption

using also same account

tried even a restore with a account that has supervisor rights to [root]

also its running without ipx but serverid is configured and spxs.nlm is loaded

Seems like I ran into that a while back. You have to redirect it to a different location than the original. Then when you get to that point, specify the server/location you want (Yes it can be the same, but you have to go through the motions).

This will then let you restore the data. I hope that is the same issue, it's been a few months since I dealt with it.

it will be a paths thing

as this is the message you get if you backup a groupwise system and then try to restore it without loading a gwtsa
once you load a gwtsa with the homes point to dummy location and then restore a groupwise system - it's fine

you say it's on a san volume
is this a netware cluster

and i forgot to mention that it restores the folders but no files in it, i will try now to redirect

why is here no edit function?

it works when the job will be redirected, yes its a cluster and we have no groupwise
it was not even working on sys as far i remember
