Hi,

When a divert is put on an extension, a call is made out to the diversion destination with the original calls cli.

So A calls B, B is diverted to C. The PBX creates a call to C with the called number being C and the calling number being A.

There is no redirecting IE in the signalling to say who directed the call:

30/06/08 12:31:31
< 0120 - 08 002:0:0004 SETUP
bearer capability (003) 80 90 A3
chan id (003) 10100001 10000011 001
calling p.n (013) 00 80 01444xxxxxx --< A
called p.n (012) 80 07744xxxxxx --< C
sending complete
30/06/08 12:31:31
> 0120 - 08 002:1:0004 CALL PROC
chan id (003) 10101001 10000011 001
30/06/08 12:31:31
> 0120 - 08 002:1:0004 DISC
cause (002) type=82 value=001
30/06/08 12:31:31
< 0120 - 08 002:0:0004 REL
30/06/08 12:31:31
> 0120 - 08 002:1:0004 REL COM

Is there a configuration option to get the DX to include the redirecting IE?

Many thanks

Why the person who set the divert knows this already.

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months

The call fails because the call provider does not recognise the cli as being ours. If the redirecting ie is there then the minutes provider will know its a valid number thats diverted the call.

Have you tried changing this?

SPICI Incoming call indication to be included in same message block as calling party text SIS and CLI (digits) SIS information of ICIM or subsequent SCIM message type.
(0 = No, 1 = Yes - default)

or this?

SPOLC To determine the number to be sent as CLI, OLI or ANI when diversion to the PSTN occurs and the PSTN is MFC. (0 = send number of divert from extension - default, 1 = send number of party being diverted)

Thanks

spolc changed the cli to the extension rather than the orignal cli which has got the call working at least.

However there is then nothing in the signalling to say who the call is from.

On a cisco you can get a called, calling and redirecting information in the signalling like below:

Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '0184xxxxxxx'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
Called Party Number i = 0x80, '077636xxxxx'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
Redirecting Number i = 0x000082, '7445'

Is this not possible on the realitis?

Thank for your help.
