No recording Softphone to Softphone call - 3rd Solution

We have a recording solution for IP office 500 V2, which records all IP calls from extensions.
In our structure we have 1608 machines, E129 and Softphone
All calls are recorded by our system, except calls between extensions softphone.
Follows conduct a softphone call to a trunk or extension 1608 or E129, the call is recorded normally.
Only when the calls originated from and going to softphone, the call is not recorded.


Has anyone ever seen a case like that?
It may be something related to the parameter "Direct media"?

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
For softphone you cannot disable direct media. So I think IPO is not able to lead the RTP stream to the recording server.
 
According to the recorder's support by checking the packages via Wireskark, the recorded calls have audio in RTP after the call connects.

For calls between softphones, all protocol login information is sent, but after the call connect (be met), the logo without its RTP.

The recording system is connected to a configured network port to receive all the data packets of voice vlan.

Remember that all calls are recording normally, "except", calls between extensions softphone.

I suggest you refer this to the supplier of the call recorder software

It is not an Avaya product so the knowledge in this forum may be limited.

Derfloh may be correct regarding Direct media path in which case the data port the recorder is connected to is probably not providing the RTP voice data .
whether or not this can be changed on the data switch is outside my area of expertise.
