HI, I was wondering if anyone knew how I could skip the password entering when I'm doing a rsh command. How can we do it using the .rhosts file. we need this to speed up some processes at work. Thanks a BUNCH!!!!!:)

You can type the following on remote host for allowing your host to execute command on remote host.

echo + root > /.rhosts (may have security issue)

and then test it.

rsh <IP address of Remote Host>

if no password is needed, it can run your othre rsh command with options.
