No Outlook Pop option in Phone Manager Pro

I have Outlook 2007 installed.

I can dial from the contacts.

When I go to the preferences tab in Phone Manager Pro there are options to Pop ACT!, Goldmine, etc... but no option to pop outlook.

What am I missing?

there should be a tick box underneath the drop down for act etc

Is the TAPI driver installed?
Did you check the telephony/modem settings in Windows?

You need to install MAPI for pop outlookto work not just TAPI.

Yes, TAPI is installed. As I mentioned above, I can dial from an Outlook Contact.

I thought MAPI installed when Outlook was installed?

I have a MAPI32.dll in my system32 directory.

How do I determine that MAPI is installed and if it is not, how do I install it?

If that dll is there it was installed succesfully. The problem is elsewhere.

Simple reboot seemed to solve the issue.

Now I can pop inside numbers but not outside.

I put the number into Outlook just as it appears on the CID but it doesn't pop.

you need to use canonical format for popping in outlook.

other databases, e.g. ACT work on the cli presented.
