My computer is the only one on the netwrok that is not connecting to the internet. I get internal emails but no outside emails and no internet connections. When I try to go to a web page I get the (this page can not be displayed) When I try to get email (microsoft outlook) I get a window that says my pop server can not be located. Again, mine is the only computer on the network with this problem.

Thanks

When you do an ipconfig/all in the command prompt are you getting a 169.x.x.x address? If so its probabley a bad network cable or unplugged device.

That is what it was, other computers where set on (detect settings automatically) my was changed to some number I did not recognize. I switched it back and it is now working again. Thanks! What did that? Norton Scan did find a Trojan viurs this morning on my computer. Could it have been in that virus?

Could have just been somone messing around on your PC? I havent come across a trojan that doest that yet. Not that it couldnt be done.
