Customer has CS1000 SG rls 5 with Amtelco voice mail. (everything is good at that location) Option 11C rls 3 at remote location with functioning PRI circuit between the switches. Systems are setup with SIGO = ESN5 and all is well, with the exception of no MWI coming from Amtelco to Option 11C. This is a new setup and the MWI has never worked.

Can you help with steps and requirements to make this work? I'm VERY familiar and comfortable on the switch, so maybe a nudge is all this will take.

Thanks!

I have tried QMWI and got a SCH1888 message. Will a standard MWI at RCAP work with a non-Nortel VM?

maybe it's just been too long. LOL

How would you dial extensions between the sites, specifically from the mail end to the Opt 11? do you dial an access code, then the extension, or is it straight dial? If you need the access code, this would have to be included in what the mailbox is sending out to deliver the indicator light.

Great responses from everyone, thanks! PNI's do match. Extension dialing is done through CDP using DSC codes. (4 Digit) The Option 11 has NMS 175, but the CS1000SG does not. That's probably going to kill this deal. Any more ideas?

I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a bitch.
