Staging a new MAS\MSS V3.1 configuration with QSIG integration. Have two 24xx stations connected with subscribers programmed in the MSS. Just installed SP3. Running a new 8500 CM5.0 switch. Have two T1s connected to the MAS with MWI set for port 46. Followed QSIG integration note for setup. Keep getting event ID 1766 - failed for extension 4601 due to invalid station. You can call station 4601 fine and leave a msg with no problem. I believe on the switch MWI served user type : qsig-mwi & LWC reception: none is set.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The event indicates that the PBX response to MM is that either the signal sent to the PBX is invalid or that signal to the PBX is not allowed. Do your signal groups have the trunk group for channel selection filled in? When you do a QSIG trace on the trunk (assuming you are using 1 trunk group for your T1's channels) do you see the MM's attempt to signal or maybe the response the PBX is giving MM when it is attempting to signal the MWI?

Looks like they had protocol A on one T1 and B on the other when they both should be B. Also you are suppose to have unknown\private instead of unknown\unknown set as well. Now the stupid light comes on!

Thanks
