i have 4 harddrives installed a 320 gig wd sata, 320gig wd ide, a 500gig wd sata, and a 200 gig maxtor. The last hd i installed was the 200 gig and for some reason it reads it as 31.4 gig... i checked disk managment and partition magic and found nothin =(..on other comps it reads it as the complete 200 (well 189 but u kno y) any ideas =\

btw im running windows xp pro with service pack 2 and the maxtor is IDE

Verify the jumpers on the drive. Some IDE drives have a 32GB capacity limiting jumper. I know you said it worked on other systems but you never know...
