No license on this machine 1

I'm trying to move Access 97 to a new computer. I used the original Office 97 Professional CD. The program installs, but when I try to run it, I get the following message: &quot;Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine.&quot; I can install other Office 97 components (Word, Excel) from that same CD and run them with no problem. It is an OEM CD that came with the original computer, if that makes any difference. But, it has the problem only with Access.<br>

looks like a registry edit. don't forget to save the registry file (export it to your LAN or pc) before editing the registry. just in case!<br>

Melissa: You're a genius! I have often checked the Knowledge Base when I've gotten funny error codes. I don't know why I didn't think of it this time. Anyway, I checked the articles, did the hatten.ttf (I had installed Publisher) routine and all works as it should.<br>

I was using a version of Publisher 97. Now that I have XP, it won't allow me to install it. I tried to install it but it says my Install Code isn't valid. Any way around this?
