I have a Magix with both analog trunks and trunks coming in on a T-1 (not PRI), analog trunks dial out no problem, local. LD & international, Trunks on T-1 can call local and LD but not international, as soon as you dial 011+any valid digit 2-9 it gets fast busy, T-1 vendor claims not their trouble, LD carrier claims not their trouble either.
LD carrier pic is the same for both trunk groups(Qwest)
Any ideas ????

It sounds like the phone system is blocking it. Since essentially, it's blocked after 4 digits (011X). The questions would be, are you using ARS, or does your Access Code connect you directly to a circuit on the T1?

Since the analog trunks go out Ok, and the T-1 trunks can call LD, I assume that everything in the Magix is programmed correctly, I see no difference in any tables restriction wise, it's just the trunks on the T-1 that have the trouble trying to call international!

I think a print of your ARS Tables could be helpful here.

Are you able to print them out and post them?

OF course, I would always suspect the vendor, considering you have stated that these lines are NOT PRI.

As I always recommend, give an extension pool dial out code access to the pool with the T1 channels. Then, on an SA button, you can dial the pool code, and then the International call. If the call fails at this level, it is the carrier's problem, but if it completes with the pool dial out code but fails with 9 (ARS), then you need to print and post your ARS tables for review.

Thanks TTT it failed from a pool button, now the T-1 supplier is taking a look , thanks again!

A hundred bucks says that the DX carrier doesn't want to see a "1" before the area code. Some see it and throw the digit out...other see it and puke.

From the US the international access code is 011 or 01 + country code, etc. which you mentioned in the original post.

Did you verify with Qwest what they require. Sometimes the IXCs will use a different format on LD dedicated facilities.

Thanks to all-Case closed
A small private telephone co is suppying the T-1 and the trunks that ride it from their 5e switch, they put the correct PIC in for LD calls, but didn't put in a PIC for the 011 calls hense the wave off, never even reached Quest for international just LD, and the analog trunks which worked for both were supplied by Verizon with a PIC of Quest for both LD and International.
This is what happens when you pick up a new account, it takes you longer to find out whose suplying what to the customer.
