I took the SQL Server 2000 70-228 test and flopped, the only Microsoft press book I have is the Microsoft press 70-229 seems as though it covers allot of whats on the 70-228 test but not exactly? what do you guys think??

think you need to visit MS website and review the requirements for the test you're planning on taking...

what other prep did you do? practice tests? study guides? actual use of SQL Server in your work?

Setnaffa is an MCSE-2k3 (working on Messaging now) with a few other certs, too...

i used the transcender to prepare my 228, and i found it, wilth 293, the hardest so far.

I used measureup practice test and I work in sql at my job I have full access

I used the transcender and practised on the 2 SQL Server instances on my test system. I actually found it fairly easy, but maybe I'll regret it when I come to do the 229 exam soon (not yet booked)...

I would love to get the Transcenders but they are so expensive, and the only Microsoft press book I have is the one for the 70-229 test, they seem pretty similar though

Hey Microsoft has a deal where you can retake an exam for free...WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
