In trying to isolate a problem, I wanted to reinstall the software on my lab OP11C from PCMCIA. I went in the flashboot utilities menu and I did something I guest I shouldnt have done... Now here's what I get when I boot the switch:
Meridian Small System Controller
Pre-Boot: 03 dev2.37
Flash Boot: NTDK34AA_r07 dev2.40
Reset Reason: C0, 0 - Reset due to Power Up
SRAM: 128 kBytes
DRAM: 16 MBytes, speed=60 ns
Security ID: XXXXXXXX type: NT_STD
Backup Flash: 1572 kBytes
No Program Store Flash installed.
Program Store: 0 MBytes
No Flash Drive installed.
Flash Drive: 0 MBytes
Expansion board #1 not installed.
Expansion board #2 not installed.
Ethernet MAC address: 00.00.75.45.10.24
PCMCIA card installed in drive A.
PCMCIA card not installed in drive B.
*** To invoke install setup program from PCMCIA enter CONTROL-I ***
Executing power up self tests
Power up self test passed
Flash daughter board not installed. OS will not run.
It won't take a "CONTROL-I" so I can't do anything now...
Is there a way to re-install the flashboot or can it only be done by Nortel?
Thanks.
