I have some phones in of our branch offices in Spain where we cannot connect to a third party conference bridge. We are not hearing the DTMF tones. It is not all of the phones. I had the users check the settings in Telephone options to make sure DTMF was turned on those specific phones and it was. Is there something I am missing?

Yes they are. It's not all phones having the trouble and all are on the same firmware. I'm wondering if this is more of a PRI issue?

So some of the 1140's pass DTMF and some do not?

Or do all of them at one time or another pass DTMF, but not reliably?

If the problem is with certain sets, maybe you got some defective models.

Would not be a defective phone. Check and see if your system is configured to use RFC2833.

From what I can discern from my onsite contact, it works with some phones, not others. The issue arises when entering the a meeting code for a conference bridge (3rd party). The enter *XXXXXX*. On the phones that are having the issue, when they press the first * they get nothing, no tone, and the bridge doesn't recognize the entry.

GWebster - where do I see the RFC2833? What Load?

Try having the user of one of the bad phones end the conference bridge phone number with a '#', then see if the meeting code works.

It could be an issue with the end of dial timer.

I believe if the system were not RFC2833 enabled, then DTMF would not work on any of the IP phones.
