I'm new to Commvault, (Been using arcserve since the mid 90's).

I'm trying to understand why I don't have the option to select differential in my Daily Backups schedule policy. The associations are all Windows file systems.

In order to select diff in the schedule policies you need to specify the Idata agent type.

Using the default "All agent types" does not allow for Diff selection.

This might cause you to have multiple schedule policies for each type of agent (2k, 2k3, NT4)
