Hi all,

I've got an issue with h323 and SIP phones to get a dial tone when outcalling. (ex 4620, 4621, Kirk DECT SIP..)
The number is pressed and gets dialed but there's nothing more than silence until the other sides picks up.
All other digital phones (ex 6408) do not have this issue (all same settings and rights).

I have several active ARS routes that routes al mobile traffic over a GSM gateway and all other traffic over the main phone line. (tried both 2nd dial tone on and off).
The problem seems to be in both lines.

(IP500 5.0.15)

any ideas?

you should check if "local tones" in the system telephony settings has the correct setting.

Also try to tick "Re-Invite" on the SIP trunk.

Thanks,

Did some more tests and it seems to occur mostly to the GSM gateway (trunk based PtP)

SIP re-invite is ticked but the issue doesn't occur on my SIP trunks only on the SIP/H323 phones itself.
Local tones should be correct since i don't have this issue on all other phones right?

Try to turn off DMP (Direct media path).
