We recently had ESN implemented on our OP81C but we still have a route that we access directly with an ACOD. Before, we had dial tone after dialing the ACOD but we don't anymore. We can still make a call but it's confusing for our subscribers as they expect dial tone before startong to dial the number. We get flooded with calls (we have 5200 subscribers) as they think there is a problem with the switch.

HELP!

I forget what the ld is but I'm sure that there is a prompt which you turn off/on to provide secondary dial tone may be the route LD16 or LD 15 NET

WHEN YOU DIAL THE ACOD OF THE RDB YOU ARE BYPASSING ESN OR NARS AND BARS. TROUBLE OUTSIDE SWITCH OR BAD TRUNK CARD

I understand that I'm bypassing ESN, what I don't understand is that before ESN was implemented, I had dial tone after dialing the ACOD of that Rte and now I don't. Implementing ESN has nothing to do with the provider, am I correct? We still have the same routes, we just access them differently. That specific route is only accessible by dialing the ACOD if you have the right TGAR. It is not part of the NARS nor the BARS. Could it be in the programmation of the route?
