No desktop icons after synchronization

Good Morning. We have one network user here who after logging in to our domain and synchronizing, loses all her desktop icons. She right clicks on the desktop and refreshes and then they're back, although not in the order she had them before logging out the day before. Any idea why this is happening?

Does a small computer icon show up in the lower right hand task bar next to the clock?

If you are experiencing intermittent network connections, your computer may be disconnecting from the file server with the network home folder on it. You may have a slow, or bogged down network.

You should be able to look into "My Documents" and see a folder called "Desktop" and your files/icons should also show up there.
