Running CM 6.3 (upgrading soon)
Issue: Operators using Amtelco place a call out, this comes across on trunk 4 (Group type ISDN, service type Tie), which then looks at the number, in this instance, LD, and goes, oh, yeah, send over trunk 931 (long distance trunk)
Because the call originates in a different system, and comes into us via trunk 4, they have no name or number associated. In a CM trace this is No CPName No CPNumber, when it hits the SM, SIP trace shows call originates from "Operators" <anonymous@x.x.x.x.x)
Avaya says this is something they can configure on the CM side, and would prefer it done on the CM side.
Just wondering if anyone knows that this configuration would be? I do not know of any place I can assign a Name or Number for this.
Not sure what other information is needed for this post, just picking people's brains. Thanks!
