Hi - Can someone help me.
Error: No compatible recorder drives have been found in this computer
Software: Prassi Primo DV 2.0
System: Windows 2000 professional

I downloaded and upated: PXEngine358 & PXEngineUpdate342.
I reinstalled software.
I shut down PC as well as restarted PC.

Still same message.
Thank you.

Thank you.

I'm assuming that this a new drive you've just installed. Be sure it is jumpered correctly. The bios is set to look for cdrom on the IDE channel you have it on,and that the IDE connectors are tight at the MB and CD. Many cannot be turned wrong but some can be sure they are not connected one way at Mb and reverse at CD.
If this is replacing a cdrom that was hooked up in the same position check your jumpers to be sure it is slave or master and the cables are correct.

Hi, thank youfor your help.
I forgot to mention, this was working absolutely fine before power outage, but PC and the firecard (card inside PC), are working fine. Meaning, i checked the device manager and still working fine and no conflicts.

Thank you.
