No color palette in Office XP

I am facing a problem with office XP and office 2003 in few computers. line and filling colour palettes are not activated. when I insert a word art, it is not showing in the document. I think this also due to the color palette problem.
Hope some body can help me.. (we are using Office XP, 2003and Windows XP)
