Hi folks!
When my VM calls out to let me know there is a message waiting,
the SIP invite From: field shows OUTBOUND_ALERT@ot.bandwidth.com

On a normal outgoing call, the system pulls the CID from the SIP NAME field in each user's SIP tab, with the resulting invite showing 618XXXXXXX@ot.bandwidth.com

Is there a file somewhere that stores the outgoing number or name for use
when the VM calls out?

I tried creating a user named OUTBOUND_ALERT with the number in that
SIP tab, but that didn't work.

I have an IP Office IP500 v4.2(17)

Thanks,

-Jon

It think vmpro uses the wrong out going line id.

Make a shortcode pointed to an ARS.

SC: 999N / N / ARS id

So the number for the transfer in VMPRO needs to be

999 + the number you want to dial.

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

999 probably isn't the best code to use...

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Evidently VMPro uses 9+ dialing. Where can I change the short code that VMPro uses to dial?

Thanks,
-Jon
