Hi,

i have a 8.9 system where i installed 8.8 SP2 inserter. the tables, views, sp's were all created in the DB and the inserter ran for the 1st time. When i run an inserter query from the application and i dont get any calls. also checking tblInserterCalls is empty.

What could be wrong?

The site does not a have a cti client on the cls - so on query we use the channel information to retrieve calls.

as inserter checks for holes in cls database for vox/cti events and logger sessions what does it have to compare against?

the system is a logger/admin database install or you are using a vox/logdrv?

NICE Inserter is applicable only to sites that are configured for Total Recording and include NICE
Storage Center.
NICE Inserter is a NICE Systems application used in conjunction with the NiceLog Logger, the
NiceCLS Server, and NICE Storage Center. It ensures complete archiving and retrieval of all calls
by NICE Storage Center.
NICE Inserter scans and compares the databases of the NiceCLS Server and the NiceLog Logger
and detects instances in which archived calls are either incomplete or missing altogether. It then
inserts the details of those calls in a special table in the NiceCLS Server database. When NICE
Storage Center performs the next scheduled task, it automatically reads this table and thus detects
and archives all the previously incomplete or missing calls.

Hi,

thanks for the response - yes the site is total recording. the site is logger/admin database install but i added this logger to another cls/db. There is no cti client installed on the CLS.

as inserter checks for holes in cls database for vox/cti events and logger sessions what does it have to compare against?

Im not sure on this question because if i check the call tables on the db there is no information but a channel query on nice application can get calls using the logger channels
