What is required to get Caller ID information? I found a related post and have posted what they requested in order to help.

Looks like you have more trouble than just caller id, get that loop up!

"If I can't fix it, it's not broke!

GHTROUT" - I got the information that I thought was needed was from the following thread (Sorry forgot to add it)

"Johnthephoneguy" - The phone lines are working so I'm not sure why the Channels say disabled.

How can I tell what type of phone service I'm using if my loop is down?

Most likely you have other loops that are up taking your calls. Disable that loop and then enable it, should come up if there are no other issues, if there are, then you can troubleshoot that or work with your telco to take care of their end.

So how do I find out what I'm currently using for outside lines?

print a dnb of 7925, see what route that's referring too and run a ltm of that route to list the members

Not sure what a DNB is gonna do. But here's how I'd find out what trunks I was using:

Go to LD 21 and REQ prt, TYPE rdb ROUT (hit enter for all)
Go to LD 21 and REQ ltm, ROUT (hit enter for all)

Now place an outside call, put it on hold and go back to it. The first series of numbers before the dash is the Route Access Code of the trunk route used.

Find the Route Access Code in the TYPE RDB printouts under the ACCD prompt - that's the route you used. Look for the corresponding trunks in the REQ LTM printout.

Then question why you have all the other trunks. Then learn BARS and figure out how calls are "supposed" to go out.
