We just replaced/upgraded a 2000 IVS switch to a 2000 IPS. Replaced since the only thing we re-used was the digital and analog line cards. We did have caller ID on the old system on all 3 T-1's prior to shut down. New system up and working great except NO caller ID now. Circuits are NI-2 and all identical. I have a 24PRTA in PIM 0 and sense wheels as 05. 06, and 07. For ease of explaining, I will only give info on the first T-1 but all T-1's doing the same thing so I must have missed something. Also, do I need to re-use the 4RSTB card since this switch is PRI's? Anyway, I have:
CM 050>05>as a 12
CM 0608>0>as a 05
CM 0701>0500>D100, 0501>D101 thru 0523>D123
CM 3000>100 thru 122>10 and 123>11
CM 3002/03/40/41>100 thru 122>18 and 123>31
CM 3007>100 thru 122>000 thru 022 and 123>NONE
CM 3019>100 thru 122>0100 thru 0122 and 123>NONE
CM 3034>100 thru 122>00 and 123>15 (I know this is just for outbound)
CM 3500>10>00
CM 3504>10>2
CM 3509>10>08
CM 3516/18/28>10>0
CM 3590>10>3
CM 3593>10>00
then my AA Data
AA00>05>0
AA01>05>1
AA02>05>1
AA03>05>7
AA06>05>28
AA14>05>0

So, what am I missing. Is there something Else I have to do? All calls come in with just DDD but I know before the cut, 4 hours earlier, all were working. I don't know if I needed to re-use the 4RSTB card or not on a 24PRTA card. FYI I have tried using DID's to make sure it wasn't loosing it when the AD-64 answered it, but no CID either way.

I am sure you did it, but you missed two things in your notes:
1. CM 3590>11>3 for the D channel route.
2. A900>0>223 to assign the DCH chanel 0 to the trunk 223.

CTVI: I guess I forgot to put those but yes,

my CM3590 11 is a 3, 13 for second T-1 and 15 for third T-1 is also a 3.

my A900 0 is a 123, 1 is a 147, and 2 is a 171 I use D-ch 1 for the second and 2 for the third. Thanks about the 4RSTB, didn't think so, just wanted to make sure.

Grrr, looks like I will be posting a ticket when NTAC opens, just wanted to try to resolve before the customer noticed in the AM. Thank for all of your suggestions.

check AA07>05>? If you have 1 = 4RSTB. Change it to 7 (defualt).

Rather than calling NTAC, reprogram everything using new routes and new sense wheel setting. You may have somethings that are not at default. i.e. AA07>05> is by defualt 7. If you have a 1 then it was not changed when you upgraded and eliminated the 4RSTB.

Also note that RSTB uses MF (inband) while you are trying to get caller id via the D channel.

No. Dealing with 2 types of trunks between North America and Aussie would be a pain. E1 is quite a bit different to T1. The ISDN ETSI protocol is completely different as well.
Default the trunk routes using 35999. This will remove any ole MF signalling that could be present on the trunks.
The only way to restrict the caller ID to the station is with 15214 flagged for the Class A.
ctvi is right I have found multiple errors at sites who re-use sense wheel settings.
I usually start with AA00 and step through all sense wheel settings before moving onto AA01 and all sense wheels again. Then to aa02 etc...
Anything that is flaged other than default I confirm and if it should not be set put it back to the default setting.
Try this and I'm sure you will find it.

pave35, sorry to not repost my resolution earlier but I solved it with an ini. Here is what I wrote and didn't post.

NTAC went through all the settings and said, Hmmm, should be working. So we jointly decided to do an ini and so I waited and Waited for 7:00 PM and then ini'ed. Hey, it fixed it. Just to note, I had INI'ed the stupid thing not 16 hours earlier but oh well. So, I did have everything set. Oh, I did forget to double check the Service class for Caller ID Display but lucky me, I had set the first set correctly before my copy.
