NO burning in XP

hello,

i have a dear 24x plextor , i started gettin burning errors in it at the end of the session , ie after 100% , fixation failed and stuff , i formatted and reinstalled xp , problem solved.


But yesterday , i was goin through these other forums , and found out that a guy had the excat problem , he also did format and the problme CAME back , any ideas how to solve it ???

I have a TDK Burnproof and I am using WINXP Home Edition. I had the same problem for awhile. I got updates from TDK cause there was some changes when WINXP came out. I constantly get the updates from Microsoft site as well. Have you tried the manufacturer of the CDRW??

plextor 24x , i applied the new firmware , and everthing seems to be OK right now

I got the same problem...but I got win2k
and I have the latest firmware which have worked for a while...

lol...the firmware has been working since last format...but the failures are still there...started a fwe days ago
