No authentication at all

Hello,

I have installed Cognos Serie 7 products on a server using default configurations.

So now, Access Manager is configured to look for a local Netscape Directory Server which doesn't exist.

The fact is that i don't want to use authentification at all and i'm not able to remove this from Access Manager.

How do i configure my server to do this ?

Which products are you trying to use? The only ones that can run without security are:

- PowerPlay Enterprise Server
- PowerPlay Client
- Visualizer Client/Web
- Impromptu Client
- Transformer

Well, I did install the following products on the server:
- Impromptu administrator.
- Powerplay Transformation server.
- Powerplay Entreprise server.

Do i need to specify an authentification source to work well with those products ?

You don't need to specify one for these products. If and when it prompts you to log-in, just hit the cancel button.
