No AUDIO on VAL announcement board from VOIP phone

I have an issue when recording announcements from a IP telepone to a VAL board. The recording takes successfully, but there is silence.

The seconds of recorded time DO show on the integrated-announcemetn list. But there is no audio recorded.

From a digital phone, on the same annoucenment board and extension I have no issues. Any thoughts?

I might be wrong but my guess would be that the IP network region feeding the phone is set up with a Mulaw codec while the Global system is set up for Alaw or the opposite way around.

Display the codec in the ip-network region the phone is registered to.
Then display the location parameters
