All the Avayas work with each other and externally, All the yealinks work with each other and externally, internally they ring each other but no audio either way? This is on a flat netwok with no firewall in between them..

Any ideas on that one seeings how helpful everyone was yesterday?

No Audio is usually a data routing issue or possibly a codec issue, disabling direct media path prove thi (but will increase the load on the IPO

Why do you have a mix of Avaya & Ye link handsets on the same system anyway?

The W52Ps are wireless SIP, so I imagine that's why. I'd start with DMP too.

Always a bad idea much better to stick with DECT for cordless phones

YEah it as purely for the wireless option. Called YEahlink bfore ordering anything and everything was supposed to be compatible. Tried the direct media path in testing and it made no difference so Im guessing Codec then.. how do I trouble shoot that?

Check in your Yeahlink phones what the codec is and make it g.711 and make sure to have the same on the IPO
I think the Yeahlink may have g.722 as main codec setup of memory serves right.

We use them to but not on IPO.
Our sales people sell the D100's for that.

Update on this, they magically work now without really doing anything apart from setting them up at the main site. The only thing I can thinbk of that might affect it is that I turned off the "use network topology from network" off to stop using STUN would that affect the sip handsets internally?
