We have 2 g700s stacked. There appears to be an issue with GW1. Users on GW2 can make and receive outside calls and can talk with with other users on GW2 just fine. And users on GW1 can talk to other users on GW1 just fine. But users cannot call between the gateways, there is no audio. Also when users on GW1 try to make outbound calls or receive inbound calls they also have no audio.

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks,

Sounds like VoIP module issue. Either interface is incorrectly programmed or VoIP Module has problem. Assuming IP Network Regions are correctly designed.

Log into each g700 and use the command Show Faults. This will tell you if there is any VOIP problems and what they are. It's common for a g700 to have IP conflicts when none actually exist. If this is the problem, Post up and I'll tell you how to fix it. You should also check the Octaplane cable in the back. Make sure you lights are on. One way to check it is by using the stack health command from the p330.

Check the default gateway for the MGP and VOIP on both gateways. If you used the wizard to install the ip address information it not uncommon for it to miss the gateways.

Session to the mgp and do a:
"show ip route mgp" and
"show ip route voip v0"

One of the gateways may be wrong.

Me

if you don't have a default route that looks like this:
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 (gateway) then it won't work.
session to the MGP, then configure, set route ip 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 (gateway)

helpful commands:
show voip v0
show interface voip
