I am setting up a new Partner system with Voice Messenging. AA answers all calls (small office w/o receptionist), gives caller name/extension options, transfers call to extension. If person at extension doesn't pickup, the calls are forwarded back to extension 10. I want these no-pickup calls to go to voicemail.

What is the best way to do this? I've found that VMS cover will accomplish it, but then the users must always have the feature turned on. I wanted to do a "transfer return" to the voice mail system, but the book says only extensions 10-49 will work, and I'd need 78 or 79 to do this.

I'm new to this. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Barry

Set the users with Auto VMS coverage in program #310, also set your VMS coverage #117 to how many rings you want at the station before it goes to the mail box.
