What will be the cause of this FTP appears to be setup correctly. I am trying to upgrade a 3300 CXI controller.

The controller cannot find the BootInstall file at the FTP site you have pointed the upgrade tool to.

When I open c:\inetpub\ftproot I can see Boot_Install file is there. So this upgrade should start.

My FTP program is pointed to c:\inetpub\ftproot
I changed account to login name as user for Administrator
and when I FTP:\\192.168.1.7 I see all the files.

Do you have the proper IP address of the FTP server assigned in the software installer tool?

Check for Windows Firewall (OFF)

I am now at the point where I have reinstalled FTP.
I have tried a different controller.

What's your bootline setup look like? Can you post a capture?

Finally got the upgrade going.
I had Allow Anonymous Connections selected.
Allow only anonomous connections was selected.
Allow IIS to control password was not selected.

made changes.
Allow Anonymous connections - checked
Allow Only Anonymous Connections - unchecked
Allow IIS to control password - checked

Now that the controller is upgraded I have one more problem.

1. I connect a phone to a port on the CXI controller but the phone is not getting ip address from the controller. The phone just sits in DHCP: Discovery

2.DHCP is enabled

3.I am not sure of the setting for IP configuration.

any ideas.

go to the maintenance commands and type in "dbms stat". Look for this line "DBMS info: DBMS_INITIALIZED is on " If it says OFF, then you need to do another command, "DBMS SAVE". This will turn on the DHCP.
