Does anyone (old INDeX guys or not!) know where this password came from or what it means. I've always wondered!

Failing that, what can we come up with!!!

NMYSBH

If you're really old and remember change controllers on SDX control units then you know it was NMYS. If that seems horrible short for a system password then you don't know that entering 4 characters with a change controller was security enough.

Reverse NMYS > SYMN = System Manager

Then came INDeX and in a heady embracing of a world that was larger then a 1 line 12 character display the default password was expanded to 6, yes read it and weep, 6 characters.

NMYSBH > HBSYMN = Hillary Bungard System Manager.

Who 'Hillary Bungard'? - other half of the lead programmer for the excellent SDX/INDeX products.

Now you know!
