nmon giving nlist errors

We have had nmon running successfully for a while and it has "suddenly" stopped working and nobody seems to have made any changes ;

The error message displayed is:

# ./nmon
nlist: failed to read kernel addresses: No such file or directory
nmon file=nmon9.c line=2514 version=v9a

Looking through the README.txt for this error message , it suggested a reboot , which we have tried on but still get the same problem. I have compared the configuration of this application, including many areas suggested in the readme regarding file permissions with those on a server where it is working and they seem fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

1.Tried reloading the nmon sw ?
2.Any possible OS versus nmon version mismatch ?

Tried reinstalling , still the same error.

I am running nmon32 via a hard link to nmon and we are running AIX 5.1. Should this be OK with 5.1 ??

Looks OK,it's the hardlink that bothers me here.
Tried running the nmon directly,without the hardlink ?

Tried running the nmon32 binary directly with same results

Possibly run diag on your HW/physical memory ?
Check errpt for HW issues ?
