We would like to Load balance two nodes in our exchange 2007 environment that have HUB/CAS roles installed. Our current environment is listed below....
2-Mailbox Servers- Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 x64 w/Exchange 2007 x64 SP1
2- HUB/CAS Servers- Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 x64 w/Exchange 2007 x64 SP1
The mailbox servers are running in a CCR environment. We would like to load balance the 2 HUB/CAS Servers to help with the load for OWA. Currently all OWA users hit one CAS server. Would there be any issues with configuring NLB on the CAS Servers since they also have the HUB role installed? Can any provide me with a best practices or documentation for setting up NLB for CAS servers. I have configured NLB for several different webservers in the past, but I wasn't sure if an Exchange environment would be any different. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
