Does anybody have a complete list of the commands available when connected in niux. I know that typing h gives a short list and h niuxx gives another short list with a few more information. I know that there must be more commands than shown in the list, can anybody help?
In earlier versions of NIF there was a lot more information.....m110d

Seems like this post has the plague, nobody wants to have anything to do with it, surely it's not too hard a question for somebody to answer, even if it's in the negative.....m110d

Maybe thats because it's documentation is internal within Ericsson.
Only way to get some info on the commands it is to use help function.
Else ,gaining some insights in minix & unix language can be helpful.

A.S. Tanenbaum is the author of minix
here's his site:

I have very deep knowledge off what's inside the NIU. I won't release a list here but I can give a little "nudge" into the right directon :
studying the firmware files can give great insight for many commands (even the ones that aren't visible via help). since the NIU is based on a Motorola 680360 microcontroller, the firmware is in standard S-record (just google it) format. there are many sites describing this format (here's one link of many : I made for myself a little S-record encoder in Delphi so I can see what code and strings we have in the NIU. In conjuction with a dissasembler, it's very easy to see all the different functions that are inside the NIU (you must have a bit knowledge of 68000 assembler language though). since this subject is a very sensitive one (no manufacturer likes it when people hack their products ) I would say that you're on your own for finding this out ("reverse engineering" are better words :) ).

greetings and a happy New Year !!

Many thanks, a well deserved star!!
I will try this and see what happens, it's not a matter of hacking, I just like to see how things work.
Happy New Year , keep up the good work......m110d
