Hi,
I`m trying to load the INL on to new NIU2/12.
After writing the EIC, and IP setup, I`m using FTP to copy the INL. All is OK and after a restart, MD is loading from INL (it starts from "60" and stops at "101"). So far so good, but when I try to connect, there`s no USER/PWD prompt!

As far as I know, this error could happen if I put the NIU at wrong BPOS (1-0-60 or 1-1-00, SW is loaded, but no connection).
But SW is loaded from INL, so it shouldn`t complain about BPOS, or am I wrong?

Can BC12 be used with newest NIU2 or it must be TSW?
Will NIU2/12 operate in LBP20?

Please advise what could be wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Are you using 3rd RJ45 port from top ? This is port 1
It is same as older NIU2 and will work ok

I`m using tty1 port like before (top RH45).
I`ll try the procedure one more time and put REL1 for 1-0-60, and see what`ll happen.
Thanks for reply!

I`m sorry for noobish question.
Of course ceejay55 was right about port that should be used for connecting.
As I said (and was wrong), I was using highest tty port which is No.3
After changing to lowest tty, all is OK.

Thanks for pointing the obvious to me!
