We have a 200ICP with embedded vmail. Trying to get the night bell to eventually go to a specific mailbox on the vmail (after 10 rings or so).
We have an "after-hours" mail box set up that caller can get directly to by pressing one of the options on the nite-greeting.
If caller hits 0, call rings on nite bell until caller hangs up. Would like the call ringing on nite bell call to eventually be routed to the after-hours mailbox.
Nite bell is on universal card, with ext no *59. Not sure why it was set up as *59 and not a normal extension number. Form 19 has inbound calls in Night service going to *59. Thanks!

You have to go onto the Night bell extension with a pot phone and manually call forward the phone to voicemail. It should then follow the call forward after the bell has rang.

Hope this helps.

If you are using the true Night Bell as programmed in form 18 then you cannot forward this device. You can use an analog station to ring bells and forward as required or have your voicemail perform a supervised transfer instead of blind transfer.

Yeah, Kwb is right, should have mentioned it needs to be a dedicated Alog.

Cheers

I still don't follow how I get an anolog extension to ring on the nite bell. The nite bell connects to a Valcom speaker system, not to a particular extension. Do we have to physcally connect wire from analog port into the paging system?

better info = better answers.

As you are using the night bell Contacts and not a night bell per-se this complicates matters.

2 viable options occur to me

1 - Purchase a unit such as the Bogen NR100 to convert analog ringing into contact closure and use the analog station to integrate with voicemail.

2 - Have the call initially answered by voicemail and use supervised transfer to the night bell contacts.
