Hello
I have migrating my NIM server to 6.1 and created the lpp source and spot successfully .
Try to perform an alternate migration via NIM:
Initializing the NIM master.
Initializing NIM client srvdb1t.
0042-001 nim: processing error encountered on "master":
0042-037 m_alloc_spot: the state of "spotAIX61" prevents this operation
from succeeding
0505-195 nimadm: Error allocating NIM resource spotAIX61.
I rechecked the spot and found this:
lsnim -l spotAIX61
spotAIX61:
class = resources
type = spot
plat_defined = chrp
arch = power
bos_license = yes
Rstate = information is missing from this object's definition
prev_state = verification is being performed
location = /export/nim/spotAIX61/usr
version = 6
release = 1
mod = 2
oslevel_r = 6100-02
alloc_count = 0
server = master
Rstate_result = success
mk_netboot = yes
mk_netboot = yes
missing = bos.sysmgt.serv_aid
I tried to recreate it and it completed with OK and all successfull but only those failures:
only on the spot I have the following failures:
