NIM network installation 3

I am having a problem of transmiting packet from NIM master
to NIM client.

error message: <Wed Oct 6 15:59:23 CDT 2004> <master> <19614> <0042-006 nimesis: (send_socket_info) sendms
no process to read data written to a pipe.

Trying to install bosinst_data 5.1.1, using bosinst.data
as non interrupt installation. Client reboot susscessfully.
BOOTP ok. TFTP start send packet .... and stop at 123771.

I retried install on different machine and always stop at the same packet. I have to turn the client on maintenace mode to get back into the system. I checked and made sure that port 1058, 1059 reserved for NIM. Please let me know how to pass this step.

DId you check the system maintenence level between the master to client system?
I guess that you should confirm if your system have PTF(IY29854)using "insfix -i" command and then to apply the PTF on your system.

Hi, which kind of Maschine do you use. Maybe you have a prob with the "platform" Parameter of NIM.

You could also verify the network speed on the client is the same as defined in the client description on the NIM master.
