I have a customer who would like calls from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm to go to his cell phone and after that to the auto attendant.
I think the simple solution is two automatic timers and one phone that that normally does not ring that is programmed to transfer to his cell phone.
At the moment His phone has a delayed ring group forward from an immediate ring group. If a night service timer rang his phone from 6:00 till 9:00 every night and he had it forwarded to his cell it should work ok unless he didn't remove the external forward in the morning. then the calls would ring in normally until the delayed ring group was activated and he would get delayed calls to his cell phone until he cancelled call forwarding
I'm sure there are a few ways to accomplish this but my question is: How is the best way to program this. Or maybe i should say the easiest way.

Thank you

The AA and Service etc is for lines.
What exactly are you trying to forward?
a set? a line or a HG?

All incoming calls to the big box store that come in after hours till 9:00 PM to be sent to his cell phone.
I know it Sounds like incredible dedication but that is what the request is.
right now they get the AA with an after hours greeting and store hours

the main number is a hunt group so yes forwarding the hunt group would work
or a set that the HG appears on or the DID target Line of the main number.
Whichever way you think is the best.

If totally automatic then some spare set forwarded to the cell full time......add that DN to the night service.
AA at 1 or more rings so not to interfere since service is right away as you know.

I took a look at the existing programming and the Main Number is in ring group2 and night service sends it to the Call Pilot Local Manually at whenever time they close (Quick and dirty.)
I had a talk with the Manager and he is looking for flexibility and wants to share the responsibility of answering calls each night by a rotation of different cell phones
A non ringing set with a bunch of auto dial keys to be chosen each night should do the trick
Right now the night service is in manual mode on the main set for the flexibility of closing times
I think I can leave it that way , add a second ringing service for the nights they choose to close early, naming it CELL SERVICE and send it to the Forwarded Set. I know it won't shut off at 9:00 but since the store has always closed at 9:00 they probably won't get many calls after that time. When they are open till 9:00 use Night service and when they choose to close early choose CELL SERVICE and talk to any customers who call expecting them to be open.

Typing this out has taken longer than it should take to do the programming.

thank you

Agreed lol
Yes you can press the Call Ford key then the External Auto Dial key (which includes the pool code in front)

4.1 software and up required
