We currently use Night Services to send calls to AA after business hours. We have two receptionists at two different phones, each answering different lines. One receptionist comes in at 7:30, the other comes in at 8:00. The one that comes in at 8:00 has the set with the Night Services button, so she turns off Night Services at 8:00. The receptionist that comes in at 7:30 wants to be able to answer the phone when she comes in. Is there a way for each phone to have a button to turn on/off Night Services, so that either one could turn it off in the morning? Thanks!

Man, you are fast! I'm under the impression that with Auto, it's all or nothing. Meaning, if we set it for Auto from 4:00PM to 8:00AM there is now way to turn it off if we in fact need to stay late and answer phones until 5:00PM. Maybe that isn't the case? Also, I'm not sure what you mean by 'their own lines'. We have 13 incoming lines. Receptionist 1 has two lines that ring and appear and 11 lines that just appear. Receptionist 2 has 11 lines that ring and appear and two that just appear. All 13 lines show at both phones, though only some ring. I don't know if that info helps with a solution that lets us turn night services on/off from both phones. Thanks!

You can override the auto setting
i.e. reception goes to lunch they can then just invoke as usual.
However lets say after 5pm if you override (answer calls instead of AA) then you must change it back before leaving.

Control sets control lines, you can only have 1 control set for each line.

Is it complicated to override the Auto, or can it be done with a Night Services button (Feat 871)?

I was trying to come up with a cheat but no system running at the moment to test with.

Choose an unused DN on the KSU, lets say 399
Create a phantom mailbox for that DN
Turn on Alternate Greeting and record a second of silence
Choose not to allow messages

Reception # 2 simply forwards the phone to 399
Caller will here that Alternate vacation tone, a second of silence then the calls kicks over to AA?.

Sounds interesting, I will give it a shot on Monday and report back. Thank you for all your help!
