hello gents ,,

i need your help ....

i have 4/16 cics ,the scenario :-

all trunk lines are ringing at all extensions at the same

time , i want to disable the ringing manually by using the

night service feature 871 , can i do that ????

and what is the procedures ?? thanks alot .

A quick question, do you have a call pilot, NAM or similar voicemail system?

The night service feature is to allow sets to ring. So turn off the night ringer then set those phone as extra dial. this can only be done from the main set. Or you could program a DND button on each set(F85).

What are you trying to accomplish?
What do you want to happen if you turn on the night ringer?

thanks for all

actually we are installing this system in a housing villa,

the owner wants all extensions to appear&ring during the day,

at the sleep time , he wants to turn off all rings .

this is my scenario .

could it be done ????

Try making the lines to appear but not ring and in services add all the extension too the night services then leave the system in night mode during the day and normal mode at night .

At nite you could have it ring reception only.

This is what happens, when you change modes from day to other modes you are adding phones to the day mode ring and not selecting a different group so sometimes you have to do things in reverse go from least to most and pay no importance to the naming.

yes Jaypee1 you got it ,

i did it very successfully ,,,,

thank you and for every one .
