Changed a customer from CO trunks to a PRI. The CO trunk group used a Hunt Group as the night service destination which forwarded to an answering service. Worked fine. Now, the only way to get Night Service to happen is to put the PRI trunk Group to a night service hunt group destination. Problem is, that ALL calls go to the Answering Service, and personal DID's can't be used. The switch is using tenant partitioning, and the LDN page has no "night service destination" to set. Have tried to set Tenant 1 to the Night Service Hunt group, with no success.
SOMETHING, Somewhere has to be askew, that's why I ask you for some assistance. My set of hammers don't contain the right size to get this working correctly.

THANKS.

we use a night service skill...
one agent defined for skill, when we leave for the day, we just log in the night serv agent, and our vecotrs take care of the rest,,,
I suppose you could also use a time-of-day routine in your vectors to point the call there, or a time-of-day routing table..
or in the hunt group form (depending on the type of hunt group) on page 1 there is a night service destination...

Appreciate it Zen. I'll give it a shot.

if you use a skill,,,
you will need to have an entry in the vector..
goto step/vector if staffed-agents in skill xx > 0
etc.

I THINK I'll just make a vector, and have it go to the hunt group every time it's accessed. Sound plausible?

yes, sounds plausible,, the vector can route the calls based on a time-of-day routine...

how is your system setup now? All calls goto a certain hunt group? what kind of hunt group, acd/skill etc?

Not even using vectors. LDN goes to the Attendant group and is answered or transferred. They press a N/S button to get the calls to an answering service. My idea is to set the tenant 1 to the VDN for night srvice redirection which routes to a vector that "rotes to" the hunt group that is RCF's offsite.

what about using incoming-call-handling-treatment for the trunk,, there is a nigh service field, so you could re-direct the numbers you want...

Does anyone know the response to this CMS I&M question?

When connecting the CMs to the Avaya switch, which protocol is used architecture, layers or blocks?

Thanks,

RM
