Trying to setup Night Service to answer on 0 or 1 rings when turned on manually. I cannot find the setting to make the AA answer on 0 or 1 ring during night service. I have it set to ring 5 times until AA while night service is off and that is how it should be. So what I want is Night service off ring 5 times until AA (which is right now) and Night service on ring 1 time until AA. Can anyone help please?

Night service will answer immediately there is no setting that I know of.

set the vm dn as the only set to ring in night service, if I remember right it forces the answer.

Thanks for the replies. I am just trying to get this setup like it was before. It lost all of the settings and I have it all set back up except for this. Before with night service off it would ring every set and after 5 rings the AA would answer, just like it is supposed to. When we turned night service on it would ring once on all phones and then extension 212 would answer. Just trying to get it like it was before and it is driving me crazy.

and 212 is what?

Sorry, 212 is the extension/set we check the messages from.

Ok sounds like you need to add 212 to Night Service then.

Voice Mail system:
Auto Attendant under Lines is where you tell the lines to answer and how many rings and which table to answer.....this is a 24/7 setting.

Phone system:
Service Modes is where you can tell a phone, phones or AA to answer right away on demand or automatically.
If you were to add 212 to the night service then any phones told to ring in normal mode will now give a half ring then ring 212 only.
I gather 212 would then end up in a mailbox after so many rings.

Or to have AA answer calls the enter the DN of voice mail instead of 212.
Feature 985 will tell you what vmails DN is.

It does seem odd to ring just one phone at night, no option for people to get a hold of a specific person or at least their voice mail.

Curly, thanks for those tips. I will have to check those out.

That was the problem Curlycord. It is finally fixed. In Ringing group 01 I had 212 assigned which is the extension to the phone set that we check the messages from. I had done that out of ignorance I guess. I unassigned 212 and assigned 234 which is the extension of our vmail box and it works just like it should. Night Ringing on it rings the 1 ring and goes to the AA and with Night Ringing off it rings the 5 times on all sets before it goes to AA. Thanks for all the suggestions and help guys.
