I have a 2400 and when we push the ATTCON button and put it in night mode, calls from inside our system going to the operator are correctly sent to another STN, as set in ASID. BUT..calls coming from the outside world that are sent to the operator via the voicemail system, neither ring the console nor the STN set in ASID. It rings a few times and goes back to the VM system.

Steve;

Sounds like a recall to me...

What type of transfer is the VM doing, supervised or blind?
Can you manually get it to work with a supervised trf?

In day mode, i dont think you can blind trf from station to opr, and this might be the case at night, so you might want to see if you can add some pauses to the vm for its dial out number so its not seen as a blind trf.

Thanks.

You need to set this up, 2400's by default have the trunks go to the console, if you put the console in night mode you
are telling the system it is unavailable. Use command ACSI.
Each trunk will need to be programmed, once you are in the command it is pretty self explanatory.

Thanks....I tried the ACSI before...
Took all 94 of my trunks on my outgoing route 100 and set them up in ASCI. Didn't seem to work. Not sure why?
